Whenever I come here these days,it is with the hope that I will see Miltiades back and posting...But this hope is getting fainter by the week...

I was not around when Miltiades was banned permanently,so i have little idea what it was all about...There was some talk of foul language,but most of you will probably agree that Miltiades never resorted to foul language unless he was seriously provoked...

Considering the time some of us spend here,CF is more than just a website providing us with meaningless amusement...For me it is more like an extended family and community around the theme of Cyprus,our common love interest...And Miltiades is a valued and respected member of this cyber family...I miss his considerable human qualities,his empathy and understanding of his compatriots,his passion for Cyprus,and his compassion for all Cypriots...To ease his way back i have organised this poll...Please take some time to think and vote according to your conscience...And lets hope dear Miltiades will return very soon....

I agree. I miss his posts, although I do not always agree with him!! I miss his humour and his stories about his family, which we have been privileged to share. He is a true Cypriot. Come back Mr M !!!!

Miltiades should be invited to come back. He was obviously an intelligent man who I think contributed much in various discussions.

I do not know the in's and out's as to why he was banned....but I got the distinct impression on several occasions that certain members on this forum had it in for him and goaded him into snap reactions.

Light hearted leg pulling is fine in its place but again some members here go just a little too far. The "in" thing to do it seems is to forget basic manners and hit people with sarcasm and abuse.

Enough said...Yes I would very much like to see Miltiades return to the forum.

Miltiades should request readmission. Why should the Admin beg people to come back and air their views?

I would suggest that if people want Miltiades back then they should contact him directly and request his presence themselves, rather than expect the Admin to do it for them.

Personally, I think that Milty is a good guy and obviously very passionate about Cyprus, but I feel that some of his comments towards certain members were closer to bullying than 'banter' and would hope that he does not resort to such behaviour if/when he returns.

On a serious note, I did contact Miltiades to give encouragement for his return. He sounded like a reasonable guy. He appreciated my call.

He did promise that he will return and so I await the grande entrance. I am quite happy about this, as I do not want to see anyone depart from the forum despite the 2 of us being polarised on our political viewpoints. I do have compassion for his wife and family and I would be happy to see him back talking to his many friends. However, he should contact ADMIN as he was instructed to. ADMIN should not be begging for anyone's return and should always enforce his stance. The rules must apply to everyone equally.
