You guys really didn't read the whole article did you? The criminal who ran into them was Afghani...the guy who mugged them while they were lying dead in the car in NEW YORK was a CYPRIOT! Evangelos Fotiou!!

I did read the article and noticed that the arrested guy was probably Cypriot but do you think he knew the nationality of the crash victims? or do you think it makes a difference to a low life such as him even if he knew?

I get the impression road crash victims in the US must expect to be further victims of robbery (if still alive that is). A few years back we were witness to an awful accident in California and ran to help a driver and passenger only to meet a worried passenger scrambling to shut his broken door (which kept swinging open again) to stop us getting to him. They waited in the smashed-up car till the cops arrived.

Let me get this straight... the guy who ran into them was Turkish-Afghani whereas the guy who mugged them was Turkish-Cypriot?

Panayiot Demetriou a pshycology student was killed last week in NY as she was being driven home in a cab after a night out. A man who was previously arrested for kicking someone to death 2 years ago had crashed into her cab after going through a red light and being at least twice over the drink limit.

So far a horrible story, but then it gets worse. WHile the victims were lying dead in the crashed car another man tried to steal their wallets. Read the story and see if you can guess that man's nationality.

An evil person is an evil person no matter where he was born...
And one more thing,I bet you he was not born evil...Something along the way made him so...He will get his karma,sooner or later,don't you worry about that...

How do you know he is Cypriot? His name is Greek but it doesn't say anywhere he is Cypriot...

DT...I was a bit surprised that you were surprised that someone with a Greek name would do such a thing...As I said originally evil has no nationality...And no one is born evil either... It is Something that happens to people along the way..
