TC ROC passport holders, Citizen without Military Service!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

TC ROC passport holders, Citizen without Military Service!

GCs who reach a certain age MUST complete their Military Service with the "Cyprus National Guard" as part of their claim to Citizenship - Will the TCs (with their newly acquired EU-ROC passports) also have to do military service?

If not, why?

I think you have to be Greek Orthodox to do military service in Cyprus and I remember reading that Armenians and Latins would be given the chance to do military service, but haven't seen any follow-up on that decision.

What do you mean by "Will the TCs..." ? Are you implying upon "solution" and if so how can anyone answer your question if nobody knows the arrangements of that "solution"?

GR,

What I mean is, seeing that GCs as Citizens of the ROC must do military Service, what about those TCs who have been given ROC passports? Do they need to do military service like their GC ROC citizens as well? Or are they exempt because they live in the "TRNC"?

You do realise that these TCs can travel and operate abroad just the same as any other ROC Citizen, but have the luxury of not abiding completely by its (the ROC's) complete rules and regulations, one of them being military service. Or, will the administration of the ROC suddenly enforce their military service the next time they cross the border?

There's definitely something missing here!

Also GR, and I know I will regret saying this, but Sorry for my comments in a previous posting regarding "pictures" and etc, I shouldn't have said it. No hard feelings, Oracle was right.
