Inquiry about higher study in cyprus

Postby Foysal » Thu Nov 20, 2008 8:10 am

I am a bangladeshi student and want to go abroad for higher study. I have heared that Cyprus offers study programs as like as the other countries of european union. And many Bangladeshi students studying their succesfully. As a Bangladeshi student I want to know are the Cyprus people friendly to us and which area of Cyprus best suited for higher study of hotel, hospitality & tourism management. Which colleges are the best institution for studying those subjects as your opinion. I have some interest in Cyprus as a tourist and I want to know which are the best cities to enjoy and entertain myself.

Cypriots are as racist as the people of any other country including Bangladeshis so don’t get your hopes up high that you’ll be mingling with them outside of class.

As for the best college… who knows we’re all done with studies in here. Go join one of them MSN student group things or something and find out.

I was talking to a young Nepali chap while travelling on the bus from Nicosia to Limassol yesterday. It seems he is studying medicine here and at the same time he is earning money from two jobs: teaching science through the medium of English at a school and working as a lab technician. I didn't ask but he must already have a university degree to be able to do this sort of work, and his proficiency in English was very high. I know that there exist some kind of work and study programmes in Cyprus. This young Nepali said he was very satisfied with his life in Cyprus at the moment, so it obviously can work out. To be honest, you need to do some serious research, and I do not think this forum is the place to find the answers to your questions.

I agree that racism is a universal phenomenon, but I believe that Cypriots are less racist than most peoples.
