Lets not be splitting genes here.

No you were calling a house a brick. I corrected the association.
And the operative term is to "splice" genes ....
Thank you!
Pedantic! Tish! Doesn't know the meaning of the word!

Now see here primitive paramecium professing profligately on prior proven points! What are houses made of? ... Bricks! What are genes made of? DNA!
And stop calling me a Microbiologist! So petty!

Deniz ... genes are DNA!
Thats why I used the bricks and house metaphore. Genes are made up of DNA, but DNA is not a gene. Savvy?
does their DNA still exist in the Cypriot genes

Then it is your analogy which is at fault.
You said>>>>does their DNA still exist in the Cypriot genes
Now, what random sequence of DNA are you talking about, which exists as DNA in one bunch of Humans, yet could do some major species changing leaps towards forming a gene in another bunch of people?
Not only do people seem to wrongly assume we have such differences, that they can group us into races, when along comes you and suggests bits of non-gene DNA could form Cypriot genes as though they were so different?
As I said .... Pedantic! Tish ! Are you going to take me down to BASES (mortar) now
