I had some personal matters to attend to!

To make amends I am sending you some elixir for your cough - will lemon flavour suffice? (chicken soup to follow! )

Hope your personal matters went well ...

Thanks for offering to nurse me, but it is turning into pneumonia and I can't stop what I have to do until it's done :( Have just had a quick break for butternut and sweet potato soup (carbohydrate freak  ).

Cheers! :D Cough  Wheeezzzz  Cough cough :(

............hopefully all sorted - for now! :)

Beggar the work. Watch those lungs - stop feeding your face and go to bed and fill the room with steam to loosen the bronchi (or whatever they are called!) just as they do in the movies!

Nurse Bubbles!!! CF could do with a bit of nursing to make it better.

Oh yes, I started at 8am in the morning then I got on the plane at Larnaca at 4pm and the very sweet stewardess on the BA flight to Heathrow just kept on bringing more and more....you can guess the rest

The answer is quite simple, us Brits find most members of this forum to be unfriendly and uncouth with little better to do than spout off verbal garbage to new British forum members. Other than that the weather forecast on here is pretty good.

Regards Lucky Jim.

I see you're still around "Unlucky Jim". Are you starting a Cyp bashing thread now?

Well said Lucky Jim...........I can remember not so long ago when this forum was one of the best informative forums available to Brits thinking of making the move to Cyprus !!!! But now its content is more likely to put them off never mind they are probably doing us a favour in the long run...............the transition from the horse & cart to the Mercedes and BMW seems to have evolved too early !!!!
