Only to be driven around the island aimlessly while Miltiades recited the never-ending story of when he arrived at Victoria station right through to having 20 grandkids... and in case you're still wondering, yes they're all dead and buried. :(

OMG! BUBBLES! B&S!

We should all observe a minutes silence for there unfortunate and torturous deaths. :(

SHHH......

I saw it coming... :( They kept chatting him up thinking he was normal...

You should have forewarned these poor Brits.

I knew there was something wrong with Milty.

We are going to have to keep our eye on him. :eyecrazy: We can ill afford to lose anymore Brits or Turks to such a gruesome death.

Maybe it is because most of the moaning done on this Forum is about 'foreigners'...which becomes a little tedious after a while. So, I assume 'foreigners' are happy to leave the moaning to the experts.

Most of the moaning (if you can call it that) on this forum, emanates from those that moan who have much to moan about in that they are the victims of those that are mostly moaned about.

There is nothing wrong with 'Foreigners' in any place on earth providing they are prepared to accept the fact that they ARE foreigners (when in the homelands of others).

In Cyprus, as a result of the invasion and that which preceded and followed it, I would suggest that the moaning (alluded to ) would be better described as protest and furthermore, justifiable protest since those affected have serious reasons to do so.

In the case of the 'Brits', they have (through their own folly) spoiled their own country and sought refuge elsewhere, unfortunately they have the habit of dragging their offensive attitudes along with them and it erodes the cultural fabric of their chosen place of refuge.

As to myself, if you consider my views to be tantamount to moaning, then I must protest yours.

I have every respect for those who hail from other lands and have spent the greater part of my life in learning of their cultures and beliefs, nowhere on earth will one find anything comparable to the 'Brits' (IMHO) who seem to thrive on their ability to criticise others whilst they are open to extreme criticism themselves.

As to my apparent aversion to the 'Jews' (which I know is of concern to many) I feel that my views are justified since they invariably seem to be in some way connected with any strife that either IS or HAS taken place throughout recent history.

My latest concerns are allied to the fact that there is now a considerable amount of investment in stolen property taking place in my own country, such news is not conducive to a just and fair settlement of the situation created and assisted by those 'Foreigners' we deal with here. (IMHO)

As in conflict resolution and the negotiation of the previously non-negotiable.

Has the Credit Crunch cramped their confidence?

I think they will mostly be at home now moaning about how 'Shocking' it all is, wondering about how long it will be before someone 'Does' something for them, blissfully unaware of the fact that those who could have done something have well and truly 'DONE' it.

Ah well, nice to be able to go abroad and spoil someone else's country I suppose, not too many left in their own home towns actually.

Full of 'Bleedin' Foreigners' (or so I'm told) something else to grumble about while the ship sinks.

8) Cool!

How many conflicts have you resolved? :D ... Were they petty or major? What are your secrets for negotiating previously non-negotiable settlements?

And why the hell are we still in this mess? :?

Ethics, huh? I guess you aren't dealing with the Turks (if I may be allowed to use that term? )

Mayhem ....
