We only defended ourselves against your attacks. You are the ones who invaded our island, and I doubt "love" was your motive.

I cannot be held accountable for what happened over 400 years ago but you should for what your father did, dont you think?

You are accountable for what you are doing today as well as what your father, grandfather, grand grand father etc did.

You are talking as if your crimes against us was just one event that happened 400 years ago. That was only the beginning , you never stopped committing crimes against us since then. Every Cypriot generation has suffered from the Turkish aggression for the last 4+ centuries. And then you come here to pretend to be the victim?

I had nothing to do with what the Ottomans did 400 years ago and I have just as much right to be here as you do, the fact that you wanted to turn Cyprus into Greece was the cause of what you complain about today but you couldn't have expected us to continue living as we were during 1963 to 1974 although it suited you, we had to fight back for survival and thank god Turkey turned up when she did, to this day we are still unable to agree living together so both sides pay the price for their actions and mistakes. Its high time you owned up to your share of the blame and stopped blaming everyone else but yourselves. Please do not play the tit for tat game as that never gets us anywhere, own up you have blood on your hands yet play the innocent.

VP, the Ottoman rule lasted until 1878. Your attack which started the intercommunal conflict was just 80 years later in 1958, and your last invasion was 16 years after that, in 1974. Your illegal occupation continues until today.

So as I said, every Cypriot generation suffered from the Turkish aggression against our island. It was not one event that happened 400 years ago. It was since then and until today.

And our crime? That we, like the rest of Greek territories and island, wanted to be free from foreign rule. Funny how it was fine to be under Turkish or British rule against the will of the Cypriot people, but not fine to be part of the free Greek state, which is what Cypriots wanted!

In effect you admit that you always attacked us because according to you we committed the "crime" of wanting to be free.

Here is the "crime" of the Cypriot people that gave the "right" to the Turks to attack us and kill us (and then complain and pretend to be the victims because in some of their attacks they had some casualties as well)

During the Greek War of Independence in 1821, the Ottoman authorities feared that Greek Cypriots would rebel again. Archbishop Kyprianos, a powerful leader who worked to improve the education of Greek Cypriot children, was accused of plotting against the government. Kyprianos, his bishops, and hundreds of priests and important laymen were arrested and summarily hanged or decapitated on July 9, 1821.

And you did the same in 1958, when you again attacked us for daring to commit the above "crime" again and demanded that Cyprus should belong where Cypriots want it to belong, not in the empires of some foreigners.

And we committed a similar "crime" when we joined the EU. Turkey was threatening us again, because she claimed that Cyprus didn't have the right to belong where Cypriots wanted it to belong!

Total crap, its your right when you want enosis but not our right to object to our own death warrant which you expect us to sign.

We to are Cypriots Turkish Cypriots we to have rights and you have to respect them or sod off and dont expect any change in your lifetime.

What's that?

No one recognises "North Cyprus". Everyone recognises the RoC. So chew on that for while.

There is only 1 Cyprus, The RoC, and part of her territory is illegally occupied.

Paphitis the TC's dont like it when we come back with their crimes. They always try to take the moral high ground but the international community will not be fooled any more.

Now we are in the EU and have a leader that is a true statesman the perception will change. The rest of europe is now realising what is actually happening in Cyprus.

The TC's better beware that this could be their last time they will have the chance to try and get what they want. Talat knows it and that is why he is trying to put a time frame to try and put another annan plan together.

Christofias will not be bullied by no one and is standing his ground. At the end when these talks fail Talat will be made to look like the fool. This will then inturn make the EU put pressure on Turkey to either end the occupation or face not being part of the EU.
