Has anyone been to the MEDRANO circus which is currently performing in Larnaca. I read somewhere that this circus was voted one of the best worldwide, last year.

Any comments positive or negative?

Yes, went to see it in Paphos and thought it was great. I would have liked to have seen more acrobatics but it was well balanced and something for everyone. The bikes were great. Plenty of variety of animals which most Cypriots haven't seen before. Lighting and sound was great too. I recommend it.

To me, there wasn't any sign of animal cruelty more then what there is to train a horse for racing or show jumping etc... I am an animal lover and a lot of animal lovers who went to see the circus were impressed by the way these animals were handled and cared for. Most animals were displayed for the people to see and not to perform tricks. Please don't criticize my opinion if you haven't seen the show first.

I saw it last night and I have to say the animals are very well cared for! The animals looked very happy! The show was great. Was the first time I have been to the circus!

i don`t like any circus, animals should be in the wild or in safari parks if people want to see them!

it`s bad enough seeing the so called limmasol zoo!!!! cruel come to mind!

Was a great day out. Took my son and he loved it. They let you walk outside at the half time break to see the animals.

Bloody pet owners! Pet ownership should be banned at once!

I couldn't agree more that animals should be free and in the wild; a few tigers lurking in the vineyards may make our local brave hunters think twice before they go out in the morning
