You disappointed me piratis, for a man of your calibre i would have expected you to come up with a better example to justify a criminal offence!!

I also gave you the Israel - Palestinian example.

But I think my second example could demonstrate to everybody (every married man at least) how it is not always possible to act nicely when provoked and when somebody else is celebrating the injustices and illegalities committed against you.

Piratis, do you realize what you are defending now?
You are defending a handful of extreme right-wing ignorant pupils of fascist background, attacking an innocent citizen of this country that happened to pass by, just because s/he was a TC! You are defending a bunch of idiots that on the occasion of Turkey's illegal puppet state 'independence" day, found it proper to take the Greek flags and chant slogans such as "ellas-kypros enosis," i.e. do and support precisely the mirror image of what they supposedly went there to condemn!

I am not defending them. I am just explaining the reasons of their behavior.

Since when have you decided to become the solicitor of a bunch of fucked up kids, brainwashed in the undergrounds of neo-Nazi EFEN, Drasis-Kes and Xrysi Aygi, i.e. the ideological off-springs of Eoka-B and IDEA?

Which means they understand how provocative and hostile their actions are against us.

And why do TC school children come to the free areas for school?

You claim to represent all Cypriots regardless of ethnic origin, why dont you ban these children from your schools and see the EU consequences, your call.

So they were in danger?

What “fanatics” is everyone talking about? What we saw were a variety of groups of school kids aged between 14 and17, chanting a variety of slogans as instructed by their respective group leaders who in turn get their instructions from political party youth groups!

If anything it was an eye opener for the Greek Cypriot community that they need to have a SERIOUS LOOK AT THEIR LACK OF UNANIMITY!

Those who insist that they are “Hellenes” had better be ready to accommodate a partitioned “Greek side” in conjunction with a “Turkish side”. Don’t kid yourselves that partition is avoidable while playing the dual-citizenship crap!

YOU WILL SHOOT YOURSELF IN BOTH FEET SO WAKE UP!

On the other hand, those who toss democracy aside and go along with undemocratic plans like Christofias is currently doing, are ALSO planning a partitioned “Greek side” in conjunction with a “Turkish side” so the end result is the same!

There is only ONE WAY OUT…

Embrace your inherited Cypriotness and insist on DEMOCRACY while shunning everything else.

I’ve lost count how many times I’ve protested about this incessant madness to erase Cypriot history and replace it with Greek!

Get Real, almost the whole Cypriot history is Greek history. Written records (which separate history from prehistory) existed in Cyprus for only about 200 years before the Greeks came. And those pre-Greek records have not even been decoded yet. So basically you want to replace the whole Cyprus history with some prehistory of a couple of villages like Chirokitia and Sotira, and erase our whole history of 3500 years just because it is Greek?

What should the Turks then call themselves when in the land they inhabit now existed not just some prehistoric settlements but whole civilizations and empires?

I don't know who they are Kifeas. All I am saying is that the provocative actions and the illegalities of the Turks against us could bring out the worst even from nice people. I think the membership of such groups would be much lower if people did not feel so angry due to the injustices imposed against us.

Why reject it? We have no problem with a BBF as long as it is political equality the way we understand it and land distribution the way we like it.

We have already rejected a "BBF" which was not like that and everybody recognized that we had every right to do so.

Partition ALREADY EXISTS so it would be most foolish for any GC government to also put their signature at the bottom... because that's what they'd effectively be doing!

Btw, don't assume VP, that the current arrangements will be supported by the masses.

You have every right to reject what your leader puts in front of you if its put to a referendum. A second rejection by the GCs is a big gamble and imo will not be ignored by the world.
