I am really sorry to have attacked you, it is the last thing I would voluntarily do, to attack a fellow GC, and so soon after Christofias reminded us about the GC unity we need to forge... but I realise you do spout a load of garbage yourself, especially about arranging deals with Viewpoint as though my Cyprus is yours to do with as you wished.
And I realise I forgave you because you are a refugee and in my eyes you commanded special status ... not through any worth as a person, but through your loss ... but you know I am so sorry you lost your house or plot of land, truly, but I also care about the long term integrity of Cyprus and the importance of not letting invaders get the share of our country for their children to live under their kemalist rules.... I want our children to live under freedom and democracy and realise those are the libertine things to fight for and sacrifice ... so once again I re-iterate stop speaking for us all, and above all stop your inane offerings of 18% of my country to ungracious Turks!
Yes Turks ... are you afraid to use that word for fear of labels?
Hypocrite, fearful Kifeas, you really are!
Oracle,
1. In Cyprus we have a democracy, political parties and elections, yet, to the best of my knowledge no single GC party -set aside one with any significant popularity, shares or comes anywhere near you "thoughts, "views" and "ideas!" If you know of any, do tell us so!
2. I live in this country, I served in the army -and I still do as a reservist, and I also pay taxes here! What about you?
And because Cyprus has
democracy I am free to have
my views ... or should they fall within some "party lines" ... maybe as you say, no party represents my views ... why is that so important? Do I have to
tow some party line?
Sorry, then maybe the UK is more democratic than Cyprus because in the UK I was free to have
any views I wished and speak up as I wished, and no one told me I should shut up because "No party represents my views"!
Kifeas I feel sick to my stomach when I hear such fascist short-sighted supercilious crap coming out of one of the most articulate people on the forum.
And no, I do not pay taxes in Cyprus because all my earnings are taxed in the UK (EU) albeit it at a
higher rate, as I do not work in Cyprus, just bring the money that I make in the UK to Cyprus ... but the amount I spent in just six months in Cyprus is several times what the average Cypriot spends ... is that how I have to justify returning to my country until my son is grown and all my business is transferred over?
What kind of pseudo-western-free democracy party are you represented by Kifeas? ... so that I can avoid it!
