I'll be working in Nicosia, not sure where I'm going to be living yet, but hopefully somewhere within easy travelling distance.
It gets colder in Nicosia in winter evenings than on the coast although it is nothing like the top of Troodos. Even here in Limassol the temperature can drop below zero in the middle of the night right in the middle of winter. You won't need anything drastic, but you will need something warmer than just T-shirts and shorts, I am afraid.
