I was never sure they could not puncture the soles of your shoes and enter your body. I think I tried killing one of those big ones. I was showing of to one of my cousins. I stamped on it , thud thud. Would the bugger die? Its exoskeleton is good protection. I am sure it managed to crawl through a crevice in the mud brick wall minus a few legs.

That night I had nightmares. :?

Why would you assume humans have more worth than animals? I have not heard of an animal serial killer? Nor do they create a social system based on greed, inequality. scarcity and debt and destroy the planet on the way. Dolphins in L.A. are learning English - they have about 100 words- tell me of one human being that can speak Dolpinese? But what do i know I am just one of those foreigners i.e. non-Cypriot and so as dispensible as a Turkish Cypriot - and Oh my god I live in the next universe known as Paphos - if you want to shoot me - try it one on one, butter person.
Back to the point - poisoning animals is wrong whoever you are and wherever you come from - why do you think the FBI keep records on animal-torturors? - because anyone who can do this, can easily escalate to further acts of atrocities on humans.
And just remember, you short-sighted fool - whenever you travel elsewhare you are a foreigner

Welcome bibsy26 :)

Oh how civilised we would be, if we could escape our nature (red in tooth and claw) just a little more. A Universal Declaration of Animal Rights, should cover us all

(But what of the poor Plant Kingdom ? :( ... I hear a little weed ask!)

My dog can understand a few dozen (English and Greek) words, and I can understand her (Labradorian doggy-body) language of some several requirements. That's it! She is what she is. Feels a little remorse at stealing forgotten food, the pain of hunger and discomfort. But she would never feel the pain and guilt of killing a rabbit as I would (I once ran over one ~ 20 years ago, and still feel sad) - should I punish her because she violated the Rabbit's Animal Rights?

Different courses for different horses, wouldn't you say?

You would agree, I hope, that the Shark is one of the oldest creatures in existence. There are species of Shark which have a complex relationship with Cleaner Fish. These little fish safely swim into the Shark's mouth for morsels of food. The Shark never harms them: it gets its teeth cleaned. The Cleaner Fish knows he is safe and hangs around with Sharky for his meals

... This was the first, "created", Master-Pet relationship ... 8)

Master-pet relationship? I hoped we have more brains than a bloody shark! Pet ownership should be banned immediately! Breeding of animals for the pleasure of humans should be stopped. :x No animal should be subjected to capture but live free in the wild. 8)

It's symbiosis 8) ... It is perfectly natural to have cross-species relationships ... (of the decent kind  )

"why do you think the FBI keep records on animal-torturors?"

Apparently for the same reason they keep files on animal rights activists. Look up the FBI site today and see for yourself.
