Judging by some of the inane comments on the forum, the only way a schizophrenic can get an intelligent discussion going, is to talk to himself.

Said the man who 'replied' to threads by posted something like a zillion emoticons in one day!

The purpose of THAT exercise was to highlight the fact that (for some reason) the status of members is judged by the number of posts they make rather than the content of them.

If the only manner in which one can aspire to the dizzy heights of 'Professorship' is by posting drivel and smilies ( mentioning no names ) then THAT person has my sympathy, not my respect.

The dust must be very thick around the feet of those whose sole intention seems to be the aquisition of a V.I.P. status, such empty headedness has already earned them title to 'Professor of Bollocksology', well, it IS an 'Ology' when all is said and done, CONGRATULATIONS ! (You know who)......................(Both of you of course !)

One should not make sport of another's misfortunes since ultimately such behaviour will have a detrimental affect on the one who practices it.

Schizophrenia is an ILLNESS and an AFFLICTION, I cannot see much humour in ridiculing the sick personally.

Perhaps the prospect of increasing one's 'Status' outweighs one's humane feelings when such ambition takes control of one's faculties.

If one (who generally displays sympathy to the sick) engages in such activities in such a mindless manner, then my advice would be to stop it since the 'Out of Character' actions COULD be interpreted as a mild form of the very illness you so readily sneer at. IMHO
