Postby chrisinengland » Wed Nov 05, 2008 6:42 pm

Hi everyone

my dad died 2 years ago and he had a half share in a house in oroklini
Built in 1996 2 bed car space and semi dtached terrace.

My question is how much is it worth, the other shareholder is trying to say it is only worth about £68000 cyprus pounds
Are they trying to stitch me up.
I am greek i have been there dozens of times and i cannot find a house like this at that price anywhere, can anyone tell me how much i should be asking for my share.
My dad just wanted us to get what was his to give

No they don't you have topay

We had 1 done 2 years ago and it was around £85000 cyprus

Since then we have been led to believe that prices have gone up.

As with house prices anywhere, it is only worth what someone is prepared to pay.
You'll need to do your own homework as there are too many factors (aside from " ...house in oroklini ...built in 1996 2 bed car space and semi dtached terrace " ) that will determine its value.

I have done a lot of homework The problem is confirming what i believe to be true .

That you can not buy a well maintained 2 bed 2 toilet semi in Oroklini for
£68000.

I am afraid that someones " cousin " will manipulate the prices to suit them.

Then maybe you should offer them £34000 for their share and see what they make of it ?
