well I think you are a true Cypriot president for all Cypriots. Everyone has their opinion but I respect you for that.

Isn't "chiakos" a penknife?

Do you mean he is sharp? :? ... or that he is like one of those Swiss Army types with lots of little tools?

chiakos/tchiakos = leventis = good ol' boy

tchiakoui= pen knife.

tappourokoullou = motorbike

I think he means Takkos, a hunk, mostly used for ladies though. Dakkos is a type of paximadi from Crete.

Now is the chance to gripe about the use of D, B, or G when transferring Greek consonants T, Π, Κ to English. The sound of Takis (for example) is not rendered by Dakis.
