How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

New Zealander challenges Greek Cypriots…

New Zealander challenges Greek Cypriots…

Expatkiwi or Dean as he calls himself on ATCA, says…

“Recognized partition is the only long term solution to Cyprus.”

…because he claims the Turkish Cypriots were being “bullied” by the GC majority!

Yet this white New Zealander doesn’t have the SLIGHTEST interest in campaigning for a sovereign state in New Zealand for the bullied indigenous Maoris!!!

It appears that the indigenous Maoris of New Zealand are not as important as the remnants of the FOREIGN OTTOMAN INVADER that has caused umpteen miseries to the indigenous people of Cyprus for 400 odd years! :?

He is happy that the white New Zealander is in charge there, and now Expatkiwi is interested in your opinion on the matter because he thinks the Greek Cypriots are not fair to the Turkish Cypriots for denying them a state…

Sorry to disappoint GR but i have been to NZ, and i have to say that from the very top (Helen Clarke PM) down to the average joe on the street the Maori culture has been embraced more than any other country on earth. Even the whites appear to be proud of the Maori history of the nation, white rugby/rugby league players do the Haka along with their native countrymen before every match, they wear maori symbols aound their necks. I think that every nation on earth (including australia) could learn a thing or two from New Zealand.
Their only problem is an inferiority complex they have when it comes to Australians

Absolutely remarkable.

Turks also have an inferiority complex when it comes to Greeks.

Dont mistake hate with an inferiority complex, since it was the ottomans that ruled greeks for hundreds of years i cant see how your comment makes sense, perhaps its the other way around or turks may have a superiority complex when it comes to greeks

The challenge was only to you GR, and the topic is simple: Why do you think I am wrong in my stance of supporting the Turkish Cypriots right of self-determination? No threats, no bluster, no nationalist rhetoric. Just a dispassionate dissertation on why you think I am wrong.

Don't talk to me about Aussies, Al! Anyway, I have a strong affinity for the Maori culture, and the ongoing Maori renaissance is going to be mutually beneficial for the Maori and the European New Zealanders. If only that attitude could have been applied to Cyprus, there probably wouldn't be a "Cyprus Problem"...

Does your stance also apply to the NZ Maoris, Australian Aboriginals, North American Red Indians and Turkish Kurds?

If not, then you are a hypocrite!

Pathitis, I support the inalienable right to self-determination. That includes Aborigines, Kurds, and of course the Maori.
