Hi GR. Did I hear a baby crying?

You will agree though that flying out from Ercan/Tymbou is NOT illegal.

It is illegal. For the time being the ROC has decided to offer immunity to the offenders. The court in Nicosia ruled that this was an offence but decided not to sentence the offender.

While they figure ut a clever way to handle the administration of all these offenders you're safe. Things might be different tomorrow though.

The truth of the matter is many Greek Cypriots use it too, even the patriotic type, because it is more practical and cheaper.

Leaving the issue of legality aside, do you Bananiot encourage travel from Tymbou? You don't mind?

You don't have to get your passport stamped Selena, they will stamp a piece of paper (held at the passport booths) instead if you wish. I have many stamps in my passport and have crossed to the South without problems many times. Have a great time in Istanbul!!

i am not worried about stamping here. in istanbul they DO stamp and i get a huge visa sticker in my pass with 2 dates on it. so it will be obvious that i went to istanbul even if i avoid stamping here....
