Justify my comments ? What planet are you on? Most of the Brits in the north of Cyprus are living on stolen land, some of it is mine!

What about Turkish owned land in the South is nobody living on that?

Nobody in their right mind could raise objections to people of both communities taking refuge in houses belonging to other people. Many here I know have relatives in the Free parts of the RoC who sought refuge in tc houses and of course the same applies to refugees in the north. None, not a single one, of the refugees in the Free Districts of the RoC have been given kochans to the houses where they have sought refuge. It still belongs to our northern brothers. The kochans are as they were pre-1974.

That however is a world apart from the situation in the Occupied North where there there has been a state-wide and illegal State Confiscation to steal the land belonging to other people, to issue illegitimate deeds (kochans) and in many cases to sell on the land to Ex-pat Brits and others for profit. To which crime must be added the crime to all Cypriots (that is of both communities) that in many, many cases the best houses and land has been assigned, not to our indigenous northern community but to the majority settlers as rewards for past services rendered to Turkey.

Turkish land in the ROC is not being flogged off to cheapskate Brits. GCs are living on TC land out of necessity, surely even a cretin like you must know that in 1974 the Turkish "peace" operation made 200,000 Greek Cypriots homeless - wher do you expect them to live?

Halil, I have not seen the deeds of "3 bed villa in Mandria for Sale", have you? The ROC Government does not have a policy of selling off TC land to prop up its economy. In the north you are dependent on selling our land to make your poxy little "country" viable. So don't try and lecture me about right and wrong of the issue. Greek Cypriots have been taken to court for trying to cheat TCs out of their land. Go and look at the Makenzie district of Larnaca, there is are huge empty spaces - prime building sites standing undeveloped - do you know why?

Halil,

Please do not confuse the housing or refugees, from both communities, with selling stolen land to foreigners. You are intelligent enough to know the difference. TCs like Levent, and the late Ozgur and many others stigmatised this practice.
