Thrill, where do I begin... since Cyprus is my daily reading subject...
A great book that I've read recently is
'Imagining the Modern: The Cultures of Nationalism in Cyprus' by Rebecca Bryant. It deals with the Cyprus problem from first principles investigating how Cypriots underwent a transformation from Christian and Muslim Cypriots to Greek and Turkish Cypriots... really interesting and insightful.

Another good book, which gives a good oversight of Cyprus' history is
'Cyprus: A Troubled Island' by Andrew Borowiec. It's quite expensive, but well worth a read as I found it quite balanced, which is a rarity.

David Hannay's book 'Cyprus: The Search for a Solution' is another good read and surprisingly easy to get into as I found Hannay's writing style a joy.

If you're interested in how EU accession is changing the situation (before you're able to read my doctoral thesis in 2 years anyway!
),
'The European Union and the Cyprus Conflict: Modern Conflict, Postmodern Union' edited by Thomas Diez, is another good book and contains articles written by some folks that I know, including a great one on the economic and social impact on Northern Cyprus.

Finally, one that I'm reading now is
'Echoes from the Dead Zone: Across the Cyprus Divide' by Yiannis Papadakis, it's a good read so far.

I know of loads more, but they're the best I've come across. If you want any more, just let me know.
