I've just ordered 'Closed Doors: An answer to Bitter Lemons' by Costas Montis, looking forward to receiving it.

Thrill, if you're looking for literature on Cyprus, visit this website for the Moufflon Bookshop. It's my favourite bookshop in the world (one of those old-style rambling, disorganised places with books all over the place) and where I got most of my library of books on Cyprus from... well worth a visit when you're next in Nicosia.

They do internet orders as well if you see something interesting.

Yes, he does. If I remember correctly, he even has an appendix for the plan. I don't really remember what context he puts the Akritas plan in but he definetely talks about it.

Cyprus conspiracy book is good, but I'm always a little suspicious of books like that, tend to look for conspiracies rather than actually see if there was one.

As for Hitchens book, again, be prepared for plenty of conspiracy-theorising. I guess the books I read tend to stay away from this ethos. Still, the one's you've mentioned are good for light reading on the train.

p.s. what is 'gotune koyayim'?

   Excellent... I shall have to use that...

Is it written correctly, or are there any accents anywhere garb? e.g. is it koyayim or koyayım?

It is the latter moosie.... The correct spelling is "götüne koyayım". But this is standard Turkish. Turks in Turkey say "gotune koyiim" and the T.Cs say "gotune goyayim". Literally it means "I shall put into your arse" which means I shall f... your arse. But still I really want to know why Magik chose this phrase for his quote?
