NO! People should also take responsibility for what they write, even in PMs. When Miltiades made unseemly allegations about another member, then that member has a right to use whatever means necessary to defend themselves.

Hey Plonker , I did that in response to Oracle posting that I had emailed her requesting her assistance , she has corrected this now so everyone knows that I did not PM her , she did this because I responded to her false allegation by also making false allegations , tit for tat as it were .

If it is such a concern, then Miltiades can refrain from making false allegations about other members, and stop telling us off for expressing our opinions. He should also stop defaming other members.

As for exposing PMs, I am not going to waste my time anymore, because it is clear no one can do anything about it except, moan and groan.
