Fucking Turks, the keep invading us, stealing our lands, importing settlers from Turkey, giving them the lands they stole from us, and then calling those Settlers as "Turkish Cypriots" and make claims on our island!!
Sotos, I saw in a documentary that Greece invaded Turkey in 1920 in order to absorb what they saw as historical Greek lands (part of the "Greater Hellas" ideal), but ended up getting kicked out of Turkey by the Turkish military under Ataturk in 1922. So please remember that you folk were not on the receiving end all of the time, please?
...indeed, thanks for the reminder. what a boiling pot, that time just before our living memory, the Modern Age at its beginning.

imagine, i remember our first radio, and that was only fifty years ago, i remember the first fridge in our village, i remember no lighting after dark, except light from a flame that was kept near. snakes and camels were not uncommon, i remember "the one" telephone that everyone used; this much has passed, in such a short time, and hard to digest for people who were removed from a Patrimony which was their constant, it is debated in Centuries (in this case), dismissing one of the most socialised 'cultures' in the world, who were self sustaining, isolated mostly, in their villages, close to their land, living communally, who never lived "free", except under the subjugation of others. here we are: Zero to the Turks, there will be twenty more times, Zero to the Turks; it is a Tactic of a practical person who has hoards. The strategy of Greeks (in this race) is to be more refined, scoring more often by percentage. this remains 'their' "Problem" in a wider sense, so that "Cyprus" represents a symptom therefore.

...the slow wheels grind, still turning round the 19 th century.

now, the Information Age, a process of bits and bytes, (where quantity and quality is important) beyond the ability to make, (total) 'war', machines and things, like books, cinema, and pictures in newspapers. the facts how they become known, as well as who 'owns' these facts, has changed, and in a way as yet unknown. writers, ("pamphleteers") once again advance as a vanguard in Forums like these, blogs, and web sites, (e.g.YouTube), serving as a counterbalance to the noblility who seek to ascend...

blahblah, all this dispute about property will fall back, and fall back, until it is a much smaller portion of "the" whole (no bomb of mass destruction). i think "Turkey" intends to keep Girne and like the British possess a Sovereign Base there, and in returning the greater Famagusta retain a greater share in Varosha.

the plan as has been the plan has been the plan, having the interlocutors in mind has been to tear the island in pieces with "them" in mind, the line will be fudged a bit, so too some 'new' Constitution. Turkey itself is elevated to be an equal with Britain (having a Sovereign Base here as well), and with this tribute a recognition for "any" Cyprus to result, with the means to dismiss (or at least obscure) value in settlement for its illegal occupation.

...where is a Proposal which demonsrates 'our' or 'their' Respect of Human Rights in support of the displaced,
all of them, even for some as they left: as communities.

This shame can be erased at least, 'our' efforts at ethnic cleansing. never mind the missing, never mind the murdered, but the living who live with the toxic waste of these acts: ourselves, mired and not beyond in our own evolution, which is a commitment to respect each other (ourselves therefore), that favours our betterment, as Humans, where Humility is demonstrated in a manner which elevates our esteem, (through reason Grace). Enclaves are not a dirty word in this context. they are a tool which should be used for our political-economy in our Geography to give Bizonal a definition: to each components; two parts (two National Assemblies). subject to a State (Bicommunal).

...since 2005, they have worked on this, shall we have popcorn? the game continues.
