For the benefit of this species and many others we turned Paralimni into a concrete wasteland. Just think what it would look like if it was managed for a sustainable ambelopoulia harvest!
Yes Nikitas - sounds about right - moan about the trapping of the birds by locals - but turn a blind eye to destroying the habitat!! I know of some people who knocked down swallows nests with sticks because they didn't want bird poo on their posh marble veranda. What lovlier sight than swallows at dusk? Sad, sad people..........
