How do you Repent when you've Sinned?

Postby Oracle » Tue Oct 14, 2008 9:31 pm

When you've done something you know is wrong (but not illegal  ) by your moral compass, what do you do to make yourself feel better again? :?

If you are a Jew you can slaughter a chicken to atone for your sins (Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement).

Say sorry and mean it. DO try this at home if you're married. :)

Well I just find that apologising (and being forgiven) just leaves the coast clear for doing it again

I find myself thinking the same when I hear the church bells ringing of a Sunday.

No bells there. Last I heard in Rizokarpasso they weren't allowed to ring them for fear of offending more recent arrivals. I meant in a cooler, yet equally hospitable land sharing for the Christians among us the same patron saint.
