Many thanks to those who were able to post constructive comments on my enquiry, the crossing from north to south is obviously complicated.
I have looked at buying a car in Cyprus & it would seem that I would have to pay twice the price for the same car, whilst some of the bloggers would seem to take issue with the idea, I'm confident that my car with full service history, & recent cambelt & waterpump change & a good 40,000 miles life left in it, is'nt such an absurd idea !!
Particular thanks to bloggers roseandchan for their suggestion of Felixstowe / Harwich route, I've been quoted £650 from southampton,
what cost do you think your suggested route might be ?
