On channel UHF 33 bayrak does digital (DVB-T) transmission .

now transmission format is MPEG 2 .

our new format will be in MPEG 4 .

on sattelite side we are broadcasting digital since 1997 .

DVB_T set top box . mine is Vestel . In these days you can buy HDTV's some of them equiped with DVB_T tuner as well .

because of more demands for HDTV we are planing to change our format from MPEG 2 to MPEG4 that we can transmit more than one HD channal from one frequency . Receivers are expensive for today but soon they will start to drop down .No way cınsumers can get away from it .before 2012 at both side of the island anolog programmes will be stop .

also you can get DVB_T from your PC . Ask if it can decode MPEG2 and MPEG4 as well .

Satellite operators are also going to change their DVB_S to DVB_S2 .

Have you ever watched any TC programs on TC channels ?
I don't think so, I can say that the TC media is probably one of the freest in the world.
