Are you not treading on thin ice by trading in racist stereotypes when you yourself are a member of a minority in Australia?

Having been to Australia many moons ago, and appreciating what a great country it is, I am starting to be a little concerned for my Aussie friends.

Tim, I am concerned because statements such as the above may encourage the Turkish Community in Australia retreating into enclaves and demanding TAKSIM over a very large part of Australian Territory.

Be extra vigilant my Aussie friends.

Thats a funny comment Sabre, considering the greeks have already declared Enosis and claimd the city of Melbourne (after all it is the second largest greek city outside of Athens i have been told by many many greeks many many times). perhaps we turks should take your lead????

Listen here you Racist Bigot.

It is the Australians that say that Melbourne is the third largest Greek city in the world, and it is said as a tongue in cheek comment, as Australians are fully aware of the enormous contributions made by the Greek Community. Around 400,000 Greeks live in the city and are vibrant net contributors to all facets of Melbournian life. The Greek Melbournians intermingle very well with all Australians and do not retreat to their own ghetto suburbs. Turks however only find comfort by settling in their own ghetto suburbs (enclaves) such as Oakleigh. Sound fucking familiar? They make no effort in blending in and accepting their new country. We see it in Melbourne, and we see it in Germany. This is how you small minded pee brains operate.

There is nothing racist with what I said you bigot.

My comments above are just an outline of the commonly held Aussie and German views on the Turkish community. You guys just congregate into your own ghettos and cut yourselves off from the rest of the country.

Greeks in fish and chips shops is a thing of the past. Even opening a Fish and Chips shop is a marvellous achievement for a migrant, who can not speak English.

Greeks openned their own businesses and did very well for themselves and worked very hard. Most of the second and third generations either follow suit or obtain tertiary qualifications, as education is highly valued in our culture. We have Greek politicians, federally and state, doctors lawyers, accountants, scientists, senior public servants etc etc. Even the CEO of the AFL is a Greek Cypriot. In fact, it is a commonly held belief that the Greek Community is extremely influential and powerful in Australian Political life. The Turkish community is a mere pimple on a Donkey's arse.

Hope you choke on your Fish and Chips, wanker.

Is that what you unserstood?

No, that is not what I meant. I was just saying that the Greek Community is enormously influential. In fact, on par with the Italian and German communities. And about as formidable as the Jewish Isaeli lobbies.

Thats right arsehole.

Do you think any Australian government is going to give your "trnc" any recognition whatsoever? It will never happen in a thousand years.

First there are the UN resolutions against Turkey. Then, any Australian Government who dares make such a bold move will find itself in opposition at the next election.

So the Greeks have been able to achieve a very favourable outcome. They are a member of the EU, and are fully recognised the world over. The "trnc" is not, and never will be by recognised by Australia, I can assure you of that.

You have stolen land that does not belong to you and evicted 200,000 inhabitants that lived in the area for thousands of years.

You will never be allowed to hold your stolen plunder forever. The current situation is only temporary.
