Stop talking about your fellow compatriot in that manner!

Hey, he said he's Chinese but not Omoniatis!

...and besides I've converted to Anorthosis!

Congratulations. You are now an anomalos kinezos.

Don't make me inform everyone that while watching the Georgia Vs Cyprus match you were PRAYING that Geogallides broke his injured wrist so as to miss the derby!!! Traitor!

AFTER the Ireland game while he's climbing on the plane to get back to Cyprus....get you facts straight! And to be accurate I also wished for 2 sprained toes on aloneftis and okkas while climbing abroad the same plane.

In that case I hope the omoniates (or kinezi if you wish) kick your butts all the way to Peking!

Apparently I must have been living in a parallel universe where you are an anti-Greek neo-Cypriot fanatic instead of a good ol' Greek flag waving Anorthosiatis. Weird huh?

You see, according to this discourse, two of the reasons that Turks are considered to be sub-human barbarians is that

1 - They originate from Asia
2 - They have slant eyes.

Now, is this really an ideology that you feel happy with?

Tim, why don't those "Greek nationalists" write the same about the Chinese or the Japanese or other Asians? If the reason of their writings is race, then surely they should write the same things for everybody belonging in the Asian race, right?

I am not saying that there are no Greek racists. Racists exist everywhere. But the general hate against the Turks is not due to their race, but due to their hostile actions against us, which started several centuries ago and they have never stopped since then.

We would be more than willing to leave the past behind if the Turks finally stop trying to gain on our loss. But as long as the Turks continue having claims on even more of our lands and keep invading and occupying us, then the ones you should blame are the Turks, not the Greeks who naturally and 100% justifiably hate the Turks for their barbaric actions against us.

Fair point. There exists a rabid, lunatic, anti-Turkish fringe in the Hellenic world that can easily be rediculed with a little objective reality, such as the simple fact that the modern day inhabitants of the Republic of Turkey (with a few exceptions) are not slant-eyed. Of course, this does not invalidate all the anti-Turkish sentiment that exists in the Hellenic world, part of which is based on sound historical reasons.

However, my premise is that our friend Huang Loon, who is obviously consumed with some kind of irrational hatred against a people he terms the "Huns", has stumbled on some posts here people who belong to the lunatic fringe I have mentioned above, and assumed them to be his fellow travellers.

It would obviously be a little mistaken for our friend to align himself unconditionally with those whose discourse is premised on the thesis that "having slant eyes" and "coming from Asia" are categories that assign people to the status of sub-human untermenschen. Just trying to give our friend a little warning, that's all. Apart from that, I agree that there are more substantive isues at stake, so thank you for reminding me of the bigger picture.

Nihao Tim,

I see my posts have consumed you, but in reality it is you that frequents these racists sites.

And to prove a point hands up with has ever heard of these sites. Now be honest everyone.

Me first. never heard or have been on the mentioned sites

You mind explaining to the forum members what the hell you doing on these sites?

All ears buddy

Actually Tim, it's the very fact that modern Turks are not slant-eyed that those fanatics exploit, the point they make against Turks is that they're actually Greeks...

Please dont say that alexISS;. Platic surgeons will be raking it in. Its bad enough that the Chinese and Japanese are opting for western eyes, now we will have the grey wolves opting for Eastern-Asiatic eyes.

I found them using google, they are among the first hits if you enter "slant eyed" + turkish etc. I do not frequent these sites and have never visited them before. My only motive was to save you the embarrasment of going down the wrong road, but now I see that your motives for participating on this forum are a great deal more malicious.

Try to concentrate and follow the argument presented in the paragraph of mine quoted above. This is the argument of an anti-racist.
