So you still think that Turkey gives you something without taking something back in return for her "services" to you? Maybe you are buying the Turkish propaganda, but we are not. We know full well that Turkey is in Cyprus for her own interests, and not because she wants to "save TCs from the evil GCs" as your propaganda claims.

Today and for the last 50+ years Turkey has the absolute control over your leadership. They offer to you unfair gains on our loss by using their military might to force and blackmail us, and in return you offer to them the control over Cyprus that they want. (today control over north Cyprus, and you hope control over the whole Cyprus soon)

When you know full well that you have made unfair and disproportional gains of land and power on our loss simply because of the brute force and blackmail applied by Turkey, would you ever dare to dissatisfy your benefactor who uses his big guns to secure for you all those unfair gains?

You will never do that. The unfair gains that Turkey gives to you on our loss is a guarantee that you will continue serving the Turkish interests on the loss of the interests of the great majority of the Cypriot people.

You and people like you are the reason why we side with Turkey and will continue to do so , you cannot see further than the end of your nose, you really need to listen to Bananiot as he tells you that you need to befriend TCs not push them away but you continue to push them away and promote that GCs live in hope of Turkey becoming weak enough for you to take the whole of Cyprus.

If TCs felt they could trust and prosper with GCs don't you think they would choose to benefit from a new situation and without having to waiting for financial support? Don't you understand that a more independent TC north will be able to move closer to the GC position if they trusted there was going to be no pitfalls and GCs were committed to this??

And since when befriending somebody comes along with surrendering to him your lands and human rights? You call that friendship? I don't.

The reason why TCs side with Turkey is clear. 37% or 30% of land that Turkey offers to give to you by stealing from us is much better than the 18% that you own and that proportionately belongs to you. Same with power sharing.

If there was any truth in what you say then you would accept that the land distribution, that has nothing to do with your security or any other lame excuse that you invent, is 18%-82%. Why don't you accept this as a gesture of friendship and as a sign that you do not want to have gains on our loss?

But I want to expand a bit more on the "if we were all Bananiots" theory.

If we were all Bananiots, means that we would be screwed by you, and be happy about it. Since we would be happy with you screwing us, you wouldn't need Turkey anymore to guarantee that you can continue screwing us, since you would be able to do this without Turkey's help. This is basically the "if we were all Bananiots" theory.

But this theory is problematic. First of all it is very ambitious from your small minority to hope that you can screw both GCs and Turkey at the same time and get everything you want without giving anything to anybody.

Secondly, there is no much benefit for us anyway. Either way we would be getting screwed.

Thirdly, if all GCs started acting like Bananiot would you really believe that they are genuine? Would you believe that the 100% of the GC community went nuts and they are satisfied by having you gaining land and power on our loss? You would be idiots to believe such thing, and I don't think you are idiots.

The only reason you bring up this "Bananiot theory" is to try to convince us to make the mistake and fall in your trap and accept your terms now. And then once your unfair demands have become your legal rights you would be laughing at how you fooled some Bananidiots.

Sorry mate, but not all of us are Bananidiots and we will never be. You can't have everything your way. It is either you keep the 37% of land illegally, with the consequences that this entails, and being the puppet of Turkey, or you agree to a real federation, with proportional land distribution and power sharing, made by two Cypriot states, one of which you will just happen to be the majority, but nothing more than that. You can't have the maximum gains that you hope for.

You can never be as advanced as Bananiot with whom I would live in a unitary state with no safeguards as I trust he will act for all the people that live on this island, without discrimination or biased towards any ethnic group. You and people like you are in the way of GC refugees getting their rights back as you only serve to push us further and further away with your rigid viewpoint, you are better suited to waiting it out Piratis as you would be putting me and my community into danger, thanks but no thanks...you will never have the capacity or understanding to get what you want.

And how do I put you into danger for asking for our own human rights and our own land? Or how am I biased or discriminating against other ethnic groups? On the contrary I always say that all Cypriots should be equal citizens without racist discriminations. You are the ones who insist on racist segregation and descrimination and not me. Don't forget that there are many other ethnic groups in Cyprus, all of which choose to live along with us and they have no issues at all. So based on what you accuse me for descrimination and all that?

So cut the crap VP, you only like Bananiot because he is willing to concede to you what you demand. And what you demand is partition. If Bananiot asked for a unitary state then you wouldn't like him anymore. Simple fact.

Ironic, since Bananiot would never dream of challenging any negotiations with a unitary state. He'd accept a lot less from you VP so you'll never be in that position.

You put me in danger because you want to force my community to live in a Gc state run by GCs who still seek revenge for the past, this is clear has you still hold me accountable for what happened 450 years let alone 40 years ago, I ask for safeguards yet you dismiss this by calling it crap which stimulates further mistrust between our communities as you ask me to take off my life jacket and hope for the best knowing full well that the past show there are very choppy seas.

You will never understand that the mentality of people lke Bananiot can bring about a unity state as people like him can be trusted but with you we need safeguards to ensure you behave as you are not and should not be trusted one inch as it would be the downfall of our rights on this island.

You put me in danger because you want to force my community to live in a Gc state run by GCs

What I want is an independent democratic state run by Cypriots. If because most Cypriots are GCs this means Cyprus will be run mostly by GCs, then I should remind you that we have never forced you to live in Cyprus. On the contrary it is you who came to our island with the aim to enslave and exploit us. We tried to force absolutely nothing on you. All we want is democracy and freedom for our island.

who still seek revenge for the past, this is clear has you still hold me accountable for what happened 450 years let alone 40 years ago

I talk about your responsibilities of the past in the same way you talk about ours. Are you saying that you have the right to blame us for events of the past but I have no right to do the same? Double standards?

As far as revenge goes, I never asked from you to be punished in any way, although you have caused and continue to cause massive harm to us. On the contrary it is you who keeps trying to find excuses to violate even more of our rights.

I would be more than glad to leave the past behind and see how we can create a truly independent, free and democratic Cyprus where all citizens are equal without racist discrimination. Do you agree?

I ask for safeguards yet you dismiss this by calling it crap which stimulates further mistrust between our communities as you ask me to take off my life jacket and hope for the best knowing full well that the past show there are very choppy seas.

And here is what I was talking earlier about. You are again talking about the past, trying to use your own distorted version of history looking for excuses to violate even more of our human rights and steal our lands (something which you call "safeguards"). How is it a "safeguard" for your 18% minority keeping the 30% of land which you illegally occupy? It is pure stealing, and this is why I call what you label as "safeguards" as crap.

And then when you are trying to present yourself as the victim of the past who now has to be rewarded on our loss, shouldn't I also remind you of the 10s of thousands of Cypriots that you butchered, and of the fact that you are the ones who started all wars in Cyprus bu constantly attacking our island? Or should I let you falsify our history looking for excuses to commit yet more crimes against us?

You will never understand that the mentality of people lke Bananiot can bring about a unity state as people like him can be trusted but with you we need safeguards to ensure you behave as you are not and should not be trusted one inch as it would be the downfall of our rights on this island.

Of course I understand. People like Bananiot can be trusted to let you violate our rights and take our lands. If Bananiot tomorrow asked for a unitary state you wouldn't trust him either. You trust exactly because he accepts your demands.

My "mentality" is the mentality of democracy, freedom, human rights, and equality of all Cypriot citizens without racist segregation and discrimination. And I understand perfectly well how my mentality doesn't fit well with your aim, the partition of Cyprus and the Turkification of the north part of it.

So you are perfectly right not to trust me to accept your terms.

Really DT, do you think I would reject a unitary state even if the possibility of achieving it is remote? Please do us all a favour and stop creating your own daemons because you will end up like Piratis eventually.

Piratis makes a point that we are willing to sign away land to Turkey, gets himself to believe it and starts firing on all pistons like a man poccessed. It is very difficult to have a meaningfull discussion with him. He also has these wild theories that Turkey is likely to disintegrate or find itself on the losing side of a major or regional war and in case non of his disaster for Turkey scenarios materialise, then he believes we would be protected by the EU.

I propose something more realistic. Work hard with the Turkish Cypriots and find a solution we can all live with. It wont be the best but given time, of trusting and depending on each other, we could learn to live together in piece and then we can reconsider many of the derogations that bother us today.

Trust is the key word. Fraternity and solidarity. That is the only way to go about it. There is no other way. Any other path will spell the end of our country.

Bananiot, if you don't reach for it how do you know if it is not achievable?

And how the heck are you going to build on a foundation of trust when Turkey has a signed and agreed hand in your government from day 1. Do you honestly ever see Turkey giving that hand back if you hand it to her now?
