That's interesting. If one of these people were to e-mail at [email protected] would your son be able to tell from the information provided in Outlook Express the country of origin of the message?

If so, hodri meydan (said when issuing a challenge), as the Turks (or is that the Huns? - getting a bit confused) say, to our new zhong guo ren friends.

Well then the idiots are Deniz and halil who were too chicken to take "Huang" up on his offer to exchange e-mails.

If nothing else this demonstrated how narrow minded most forumers are ... all jumping on the bandwagon to associate GR! or myself. Original, they are not.

Admit it Tim ... "Huang" made your day yesterday! ... nothing will ever seem as good again!

 Only give out your e-mail address to those you trust. If you have any doubts at all about the persons true identity, it will always be a wise decision on your behalf not to exchange such private information.
Just a word of warning!

For those of you fortunate enough to live in Limassol, I recommend you get your computers from Ultimark Solutions. They configure all these things properly and will give you as many key board set ups as you want. I could read the Chinese characters in your post.

tell me why my sons computer is running so hot? 3 fans, new thermal paste and still running hot?
is there anywhere in the south where they sell liquid cooled cases? have you or anyone ever built one of these?

If it was running TOO HOT it would power itself down automatically as set in the BIOS thermal settings so being “hot” alone is not enough reason for concern.

If it’s also very noisy you can clean and oil all the fans including that of the video card to tone the noise down significantly.

I’ve setup plenty. Bionic has plenty of liquid cooled cases…

thanks for that, is it more of a problem to build than a normal one?
he just built this new one with a large power pack in it, running fine but hot.

Keep in mind that what I said about heat above is valid if the heat is coming from the processor/motherboard, BUT if it’s coming from the hard disk and extreme then one would need to look into this. An overheated HDD would tend to FREEZE a computer often.

The fans must be bolted in such a direction that there is AIR FLOW... in other words its wrong to have them all sucking air in, or blowing air out. You get the drift right? (pun intended)

The main problem with liquid cooling is that if installed in a normal case then sufficient space may be a problem but not so with special cases. You’ve got to follow instructions to a “T” to setup liquid cooling properly if it’s going to work and every brand is different.

Another solution is to upgrade to the new Intel Centrino Duo T series. The CPU runs very cool as it could even handle resource intense graphics when coupled with a decent video card. Technology is very cheap these days.
