Oh no! I was trying to set some traps in my above post. All in vain.

Can admin perhaps confirm if these IP addresses really were from China.

That's interesting. If one of these people were to e-mail at [email protected] would your son be able to tell from the information provided in Outlook Express the country of origin of the message?

If so, hodri meydan (said when issuing a challenge), as the Turks (or is that the Huns? - getting a bit confused) say, to our new zhong guo ren friends.

Tim in Outlook (not sure about Express) open the message then on the view menu, click options. You should get a window which contains the header information for the message. It gives various IP addresses to play with.

Sure, I am aware of that, but it is all "Chinese" to me, if you will forgive the pun. I need somebody who can actually make sense of it.

Tim, try this site it should convert an IP address to a domain name which might give a clue to location.

Tim , I am sure you can easily cirmvent this issue of IP addresses. The easiest has been suggested, by having a few Chinses guests and filling them up with anti-'HUN' hatred.

I had heard of disappearing dogs in Western Cyprus.
