Kourambiedes and Pastitsia (almond pastitsia ... not the Greek lasagna-like dish of similar name). But basically love all almond containing biscuits .... :D

I'm nuts about almonds. 8)

At 4 am on execise and pouring down with rain even the 24hr ration hardtack oatmeal biscuits were tasty

I second hardtack, utterly disgusting when you are not hungry, but when you are starving and have lightened your ration pack for 24 hrs they are delicious.

"Hardtack" ? - are these large, thick, round, oat things that come in tins - army rations?
