Views from a turkish speaking Cypriot

they had MAPS of divided cy way before the intercomunial thing, before the 50s even, they know what they're doing way before hand everywhere, and if they want they could unite cy tomorrow.... by doing this do they not really they have caused so much blood, patriotism and nationalism to our island when we were brothersand what happens to them is a phase,

but what happens and matters to us is for the benefits of our people

england will only support her benefiticial incomes, yeah, and i asked her how did they manage, .. they already made plans with to turn the cypriots against eachother
,n that the greek junta n turkish created tmt was already being planed and provided for

turk, greek can not do anything against divide n rule policy

i realy want a united cy but turkey is making things difficult for us. and she said as long as turkey is making it difficult .. this is the best solution for the british for cy..she said if they want they can unite , if they want they can make to indepenant states, and she says as long as british is benefiting from cy then this is the best solution for cy.. she

said when british is ready then the cy can be ready, the poor cypriots tunring against their brotherhood was part of their propaganda..

I agree because, it IS the British who made us like this. We were brothers. They turned us against eachother, created junta and tmt etc. I completely agree.

Those maps did exist, but why? Did you ever ask yourself?
The GCs had wanted Enosis all that time, these maps were a cnter masure by the then TC leaders and Turkey. You never gave up your dreams and called Turkeys bluff and now we are all suffering. Dont you see that.

I disagree Deniz. Enosis and Taksim was all the British's ideas. This map of a divided Cyprus that THEY had (British) was way before our intercommunial violence.

I believe the Turkish speaking Cypriot community have to accept themselves as minorities.

We would have carried on living as brothers if it wasn't for their ''divide and rule'' policy as they did with India, Bangladesh and Pakistan as well.

I am afraid you are wrong. The day the British set foot in Cyprus, they aproached the British with their demands for Enosis. Even in 1821, they had the idea of uniting with Greece after the Greek War of Independence from Turkey.
