Language Use in Cyprus - Survey - Please help me!

Postby Ariane » Fri Oct 10, 2008 6:41 am

Hi everybody!

I am currently writing my master thesis about the languages of Cyprus and I ve set up a survey of 25 questions to find out more about the language use and language contact in Cyprus.
The survey is available in English, Greek and Turkish and it will take you just 10 min to fill it in.
Everyone who is living in Cyprus can participate!!

So please, help me by filling in my survey because I need as many responses as possible!

Here is the link: http://www.cyprus-questionnaire.de

Thank you so much!

Greetings from Germany!
Ariane :)

Ariane ,

for Turkish Cypriots ''Lehçe'' pls read below link.

http://www.w2.forumfinanse.pl/Gibrizlija.html

your form filled .

Gibrizlija (also known as Gibrizlidja) is the vernacular spoken by Turkish Cypriots both in Cyprus and among the half a million diaspora. Strongly influenced by Kipriaki or Cypriot Greek, the Gibrizlija dialect descends from Early Anatolian Turkish (OAT).
