Shows that NEVER burst a blister. Its the surest way for an infection.

Lets know how he fares.

If you boil a needle in some water, lemon, and perhaps salt(?), to disinfect it you can then prick the blister.

That's why you first thread it and just let the tip of it hang in the boiling water.

Unless you are a qualified medic or live in a jungle, that is not the best advice GR.

What if you dont have a source of fire

What if you dont always carry a needle

What if you live near Oracle where all the lemons have been converted to lemonade.

Keep the wound sterile by not puncturing the blister.

I hate these keyboard 'so called medics'. Come on O, back me up on this.

GR, I suggest you go on a 'First Aid Course for children' course. God forbid that you might need it.

What's wrong with asking advice?

I am just off to take a picture of the nasty rash I've got so that I can post it here for your advice.

If you were to go to a GP with a blister on your finger, he’d take a needle-like instrument swipe the tip clean with a disinfecting agent and POP!

Actually, you’d hear TWO pops… the second being a 20-30 pound medical bill!
