Try answering the question and explaining how unfiying without safeguards will not be what I claim rather than trying to push it to one side as normal.

as a GC how can I trust EU, US, Russia, Turkey and TC"s.

they are playing cards aleways and change the rules part of the way.

since 1974 we have been crying for help to free our country from a barbarian country of 70 million people and 45,000 troops on our land where are they now. Probably playin games.

How mant times am I going to say it VP. Cyprus is no longer the Cyprus of the 60"s or the 70's. It is 34 years more mature. It is recognised by International Community and obbeys International law. It is a member of the EU and has to obey by the laws and principles of the EU therefore there are guarantees to ensure the safety and protection and rights of minority groups.

Second point if your footbal head of a leader had an ounce of power, he would have said to Christofias the following okay we don't trust yu and we want guarantees so you don't trust Turkey and you want gaurantees why don;t we appoint some other Internatioanl organisation to ensure that neither of us stary from the path of peace.

Once again you are fixated on Turkey, either because you want too or because you are unable to do abything else. Then if it is the later things become complicated and I can't help you. Am not a politicain nor do I have the desire to become one.

You're making one main assumption: that all Greek Cypriots think the way that you do. Sorry to destroy your assumption, but they do not! There are more than enough nationalist Greek Cypriots who will try once again to marginalize - if not terrorize - the Turkish Cypriot presence on the island. Just read some of what your compatriots post if you don't beleive me...

Gcs are experts at manipulating laws and procedures in their favor that why we need safeguards so they know the outsome from the outset if they should try to change the rules after an agreement has been signed. You may have a new saddle on your back and think you are a race horse but the "RoC" is still a donkey believe me, GC mentality has not changed one iota towards TCs.

Who has shown the strength of stepping in in our hour of need and has supported us for 34+ years, Turkey, how can we trust any other country or body? You have to understand that TCs feel indebted and will not seperate from Turkey just because GCs want them to, the financial support that Turkey provides for the TRNC has to be guaranteed if TCs are to move away from Turkey is your side ready to finance this? me thinks not nor do you allow us to improve our economy so that we are less dependent on Turkey.
