It has happened before, at least once(ask the Greek pilot Grivas where he sent the Turkish F-16 in the autumn of 96'), and it may happen again. Its not the 12, 6 or 3 mile limit we are talking about here, the Turks go way beyond the line during their continuous violations. It still amazes me that they are labelling us as being 'provocative'.
Can please someone provide a source on the Treaty of Laussane, and how this allows Greece to expand its territory up to 3 miles? Because the Treaty of Laussane i know says otherwise.
Thanks.

Grivas!!
What this the Cyprus Grivas?
The Attorney of the Erdogan family, Mehmet Emin Keles said that they had petitioned to ECHR against the pilot of the Mirage, Thanos Grivas, that downed the Turkish aircraft on grounds of 'Murder' , because he took a live when there was no state of war. Last May, Greek Karma magazine had revealed the death of the Turkish pilot by a Greek missile.

To avoid confusions, Nail Erdogan was the pilot of the Turkish F-16 that was shot down on 8 October, 1996. RIP to the pilot, well done Hellenic Air Force.

Protecting our FIR and National Waters when those are blatantly violated is more than an honor . Its up to Turkey to avoid further similar incidents in the future.
