MR. BOUCHER: You would have to ask the Cyprus Government.

Is he dodging the questions? Why would he?

So that's direct clearance for U.S. citizens to freely visit the north. Is that new? Did they use to discourage citizens from visiting?

And I don't for a minute believe that the Congressmen didn't check with the State Department first. I'm sure they did, and they got clearance, too.
My question is, why would Boucher be dodging questions on this? If there's no legal obstacle to them coming through Ercan, and if the RoC did (or did not, for that matter) why would he be evading the questions?
He could be trying to downplay it, so that it wouldn't draw any further questions. It just seems to me like there's something there.

The US supporting Turkey (like they support Israel, Saudi Arabia and some other countries that serve their interests). Whats new in this? The US policies in Cyprus are known since the time of Kissinger.

And then one more 'oxi' to Turkey in EU? Sure, no problem. If you prefer us saying 'oxi' we will give us many as you want.

Piratis bring it on, use the veto, but ooops i forgot you have to do what you are told by the big boys in the E.U

A veto against Turkey does not hurt me or any other tc but it will sure hurt you, remember that balance of power you talk about, it will NEVER be in your favour.

I hope this post has irritated you as much as you irritate everyone else, especially your fantasies of war.
