Are Cypriots putting on weight ? I know weight gain is a problem in the UK but are we now exporting our love of junk food to Cyprus ?
Evidence on the beach is a big affirmative.

Cypriot cuisine is not the world's most healthy, but that aside, you only have to look how busy KFC & McDonalds are to see why the 'problem' is increasing!

Affirmative indeed purdey.

Backsides especially are on the increase - I blame all the 'pastries' they eat!

Traditional Cypriot cuisine is very healthy, but not conducive to a slim figure. The change to a more western diet over the last 40 odd years has resulted in the younger adult generation being taller and slimmer than their parents, but in the long term they will probably be less healthy.
