How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Piratis » Tue May 17, 2005 1:42 pm

In 1974 Turkey illegally invaded Cyprus and it currently illegally occupies part of it.

Two things can happen:

1) Turkey stops the illegality.

2) Turkey continues the illegality, she is blocked from EU, and we simply wait for the next round of war at the right time.

The ones that expect from us to surrender so they can win what does not belong to them are dreaming.

Why do you dream of war, so your answer to everything is, if you do not get your way you will wait till you feel powerful enough and wage a war, is that what you are saying as this is what i am understanding.

I feel pity for you but if it makes you feel better what the heck keep on dreaming of war

You are like a broken record Piratis, plays the same thing over and over. This is a different song man (meaning topic).

He should have a "Piratis views" topic in the forum and paste all his views in that topic for everyone to read (not that many anyway) rather than typing it over and over.

And the relation to subject is?

The relation is that we the PEOPLE take the final decisions. Papadopoulos is there because we want him to be there, and he does what we want him to do. So your "2008" is complete crap and totally irrelevant. Got the relation to the subject now?

Can you honestly see TPap standing again in 2008? I know Cyprus has a tradition of octagenerian politicians, but isn't there anyone younger to challenge him? Still, if DHSY's vote collapses like I think it will, will there be anyone other than Christofias to anoint the next President?

The only one who is not in T-Pap's camp already and who fits the bill is Kassoulides. My money would go to him, but... how many moderates are there? Judging by the figures Alex gave, not enough...
