From what I have read on forum, not many have a good word for the USA or it's people.
I have had enough experience of America and Americans to appreciate their country their hospitallity, and having them watch my back in tight situations.

Oracle is hiding all the Weapons of Mass Destruction in Cyprus perhaps you could save yourself a trip to Iraq

I know how to make some in double quick time .... no need to stash :D

I suppose you know how to make recreational drugs as well

Knowing how to make something and actually doing so, are two different things  ....

I'd just rather bake a cake 8)

Did you make you own birthday cake last month O? I hope you shared!

Must have been a big cake if you managed to get all those candles on, or did you just cheat and go for the numbers 5 and 0?

You think it's better in the USA

Postby ericroskamp » Tue Oct 07, 2008 7:54 pm

So you think that the USA is so much better? I live 7 years in Cyprus and think that every country has it's problems.

At least I am happy that you leave the country when you are not happy anymore, because there are many people who are only complaining about cyprus but in the end they don't want to leave the island anymore.

I wish you good luck back in the USA!

Ericroskamp.i dont know whether you are addressing me with your posting if you are let me explain.I have lived here in Cyprus for the last six years i love it here and i have made many friends both Cypriot and British. What i am saying is that the years i lived in America i also enjoyed that time making many american friends and i am still in contact with some.
I just do not understand how so many peaple on this thread are not to keen on the Americans,i found them so warm, friendly and hospitable.
PS..At my age i think i will see my last days here

Try living in the UK then. Everything is bloody rising. Petrol, electricity, food, interest rates/mortgages......everything. I see from the news that the idiot in charge of the UK right now has an emergency package for the banks in UK, which will probably mean that taxes are going to increase. It is a joke over here and I hate the place
