Brit bashing is a main stay of this forum, without the demon everything else falls apart.
Brit responses should be measured, as laid down in the H.M. Stationary Office publication No OXO/130/CYP on re-colonisation that you should have collected and read when accepting your UK£100,000,000.10p from H.M. Treasury to vacate the Motherland and go fourth and multiply in foreign lands. Pargraph 6 page 420 clearly states that in order to undermine the State that you are in and sow the seeds of discontent amongst the natives the Brit agent should concentrate his/her energies on the following,
Driving standards
Animal Cruelty
Rubbish Dumping
Poor Service
Excessive Charging
Civil Servants
Larnaca Airport
The Wedding and Subsequent Wedding Business
These subjects are devisive issues amongst the general population of the island and serve our puposes of divide and, well we dont use the word anymore, preferring the rather more politically correct 'befriend'. A concept that originated successfully with 'The Great Alexander'.

Embrace the challenge

You forgot to add

Pool procreation
Gargantuan Golf course generating
Green belt depletions.
Tut-tutting at "queues"
Bemoaning heat/dust/drought
Traffic/Driving violations
Bird bagging ...

Sleep deprivation is classed as torture but yes all of these can be added if you so wish. Though as a personal favour I would ask that Bird bagging is left of the list for reasons I cannot go into now.

OK ... you are dismissed ...

I dunno, Brits come over here and all they want to do is sleep

Kalinihta. :D

There are only two types of Brits I can’t stand… the British youth that get plastered and then behave stupid in places like Ayia Napa, etc, and the Brits who knowingly move to the occupied territory and/or “buy” property there.

BUT… the biggest losers of them all are actually a small number of peasant Cypriots who went to the UK in the 40s, 50s, 60s, and… you can read all about them here!

Why is it that some of the forum members keep bashing the Brits in their posts. Lets not forget without us Cyprus would be a poorer place to live the Brits bring so much to the island through tourism and new settlers, so come on now lets have no more of the bitter and twisted jibes. And you know deep down that you really love us.

Regards Lucky Jim

Why thankyou Humanist.

I like CBBB Have lived in Cyprus on and off (though not at present) since the 70s and I myself find the attitude and behaviour of a great majority of Brits who live on the Island nowadays quite offensive. I've actually lost count the number of times my wife has had to 'pull' me away to stop me having a go and some of the idiots we've come across.

Any way theres always tommorrow and maybe this thread will still be around in the morning.

Muust be around lunchtime for you , Have a good day mate
