If i can make a easy comparison, over here in the UK typically many of the Asians live in there own areas and the general opinion of brits is 'Bloody Indians, coming over here and taking over our areas, who do they think they are.'
Well it seems to me that the many (not all) Brits are guilty of the same thing and rather than mixing with the Cypriot population and becoming a part of Cyprus. They want to live in Little Brit Villages away from everything.
When we move we are hoping to live in a Cypriot area and live the Cypriot - Well thats what we are hoping.
Maybe if more Brits did this, they wouldnt get such a bad name for themselves.
I totally disagree, Foreigners come to the UK and try and change things ie building mosques, wanting to wear their turbans in schools etc. Fine if they want to live here but they should fit in with our culture just as brits should have respect for other countries and fit in with them!
Deniz did the right thing to blend in UK,supporting Arsenal, owning a dog.Probably drinks tea all day as well
Earl gray ofcourse and licorice afterwards.
Then on with the slippers and out with the pipe ?
Hmmm, Boris just chewed up my new leather slippers and I dont smoke.
I have trouble blending in Cyprus though.
Why
Boris loves chewing leather
