We spend money in the south and support your economy and we also bolster your work force by providing cheap labour.

where is the pride in that?

Its better than 1 in 3 living in ghettos and 100% of TCs being discriminated against. Social support is rampant all over the world its not unique to the TRNC.

seriously VP, is the public service being paid? are there no more strikes? is Turkey providing, more? why would any Turkish Cypriot want to travel south, given your position on Greek Cypriots? has the south remained as it was, dependant on the hand outs it can get from the interlocutors? somewhere in your thinking there is a flaw where the dogma has no answer, my hope is that you will find it to overcome the fear you have to change, as well.

the agreement that was signed by talat and christofias stands, and it implies three governing bodies, where we can identify ourselves as Cypriots, without discrimination, and as Turkish and Greek Cypriots, in Assembly, as majorities, so that we can sustain ourselves as Persons (as well as Individuals). or it implies one governing body where there is effective and efficient representation for us as Communities as equals. it is clear that a two state solution is your desire, just as it is clear that others who identify themselves as "Greeks" wish for a single unitary state without these considerations. neither can be satisfied if we agree that the Principal of Bicommunaility is to be respected, let alone applied as our will.

partition is only a demonstration of our failure to act, for the betterment of the Human condition.

...furthermore, it would not surprise me in real terms, that "Greek Cypriots" provide to the northern economy greater benefits, than what is gained from the travel of citizens to the south.

we don't stand at your doors in the morning pointing guns at you saying go shop in the Free areas of the RoC anf get up and go to work ........ we're not allowed too remember. Secondly, we do not get cheaper labour TC's get paid equal value fr their work as their counterpart in the same job.

Lastly you have the choice not to shop and not to work in the free areas.

love to see those figures, get the feeling TCs spend more in the south than the workers earn plus what GCs spend in the north.

Its called economics labour and movement of money goes to where ever it can be best utilized. If the south were closed people would go to Turkey for shopping as it is much cheaper than the south and labour would go all over the world where work was available.

If it bothers you that much pass laws to stop TCs working and shopping in the south but be prepared for the EU backlash.
