Some papers begin with a negative state of mind. they try to spread fear and confusion . They are hiding behind a terminology to draw their own conclusions the most objective paper to read is Cyprus Mail.

DT I was reading a paper few days ago and I was about to get Depressed so I stop reading before it was too late . I realised that some articles may not reflect the real picture but the picture that the author likes to show to prove his point of view.

Where have I complained? I have merely corrected you by filling in the gap you left with partial press coverage. You left out Politis, Cyprus Mail and Haravgi as spokespeople of the President.

You're always one-sided about things Banana and I'm only helping out.

I am not sure that they are the "spokespeople" of the President (except Haravgi), they do criticise him and his Government when they feel it necessary.

This thread is ridiculous, Greek Cypriots will never give up their Greekness or Hellenism as we are Greeks and Turk Cypriots will never give up their Turkishness since they are Turks. We will never give up our identity for the fake premise of a Cypriot nationality that doesn't exist. We are proud of our culture, history, religion etc which is undeniably Greek. The key for a solution here is to use our Cypriot regional identity (its a regional identity not an ethnic identity ) and use it as something that unites Greek and Turk Cypriots for a common solution to our problems both without enosis or taksim. The neo-Cypriot agitators on this forum are a bunch of lost souls who are confused about their own identity.

And the most important something which some people can not understand is that Greeks of Cyprus born here in the Island, all others are shelters or invators...and some others are just GENITZAROI...See Meltiades kind of item or human or whatever..

but im not a kalamaras either, im a kypreo who like 99 percent of other kyproi know who we are and are proud of who we are....why are you so against "kalamarades" anyway? we joke about them sure but at the end of the day we are Greeks too and proud of it....seems like you have a chip on your shoulder against "Kalamarades". Look mate, if you’re sure you are Greek because some Greek traders came over in 1500BC and porked one of your ancestors then that’s fine with me, but by the same token you must accept that not everyone’s ancestors were porked by a Greek trader so kindly respect other people’s Choirokitian ancestry.
