"Talat Threatens Border Closure" The Guardian

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I lived in the US for some years and there everybody sues each other for the most minor reason. If we were like americans (british are probably the same in this) we would have started the law suits long long time ago.

Do you think there is anything wrong with collecting evidence and making law suits to protect your belongings???

Talat can not stop the law suits, and closing the gates will not help. You can't stop justice.

Piratis, civilian lawsuits are just as harmful to a solution as reclosing the borders.

either way, at this point im sure 80% of GCs dont really give a rats ass about crossing over seeing as they are not even allowed to pick flowers from their gardens!

closing the borders, IMO, will only favor GCs in the even of any solution for two reasons:

1) the obvious that TC admin is wrong for closing off the island to its inhabitants
2) GCs will get themselves into less trouble with a closed border (suing TCs)

You have every right of going to the courts. However if you persue legal acts merely as a means of trying to intimidate people and as an 'alternative' to genuinely seeking a political settlement to a poltical problem then my view is this will ultimatley be an expensive startegy for GC. You will loose international support and you will almost certainly loose the court cases (in the case of the orams actions and europena arrest warrants neither of which imo have much legal basis of chance of sucsess)

I think that the opening of the border was an act of good will. If you use this act of good will to try and attack us do not be surprised if we decide it was a mistake to open them in the first place.

Slogans are fine but the world is litterd with injustice that has never been recognised or rectifed and never will be. That is just a plain fact. Keep on believing that for GC justice (as they decide it) is ultimately ineveitable if it makes you happy - but there is no eveidence to support your claim that you can not stop justice.
