I have read the article also. What strikes me is Talat's racism.

I can accept that he has been voted by the TC's to represent them. However a leader of such shortsight cannot bring to people who have a history of hate for one another together. He is incapable of unifying Cyprus and I suggest that if TC's other than Zan and VP who want partition do something about it.

If TC's have a secret agaenda as Turks usually do and partition is what they want they better put it on the table as an option 18:82 becuase thats all we're gonna agree.

That is not even an option though since the Turk spoke at the ECHR because it was clearly stated the ECHR will not accepts two states on the Island because it is one unified country recognised by the EU an entity that Cyrus is a member of and I doubt that Europe will give 1/3 of its territory to any Turk Cypriot or otherwise.

Little by little the world will get to hear the other side of the story and the difficulties of finding a solution. GCs also contribute to there being non solution in Cyprus and the EU is being educated now with a more balanced viewpoint, now that they have started to listen to both sides. President Talat is our voice and however much you do not like hearing what he has to say on our behalf you better get used to it the momentum will increase as the word realizes that the TCs carry 50% of the weight in agreeing a solution. Why dont you try to address what he has to say rather than protest about everything else but the real issues. Well done President Talat.

VP, if you as a person, and those form the TC leadership and community that you try to represent here, had the slightest grain of honesty and sincerity, you would have at least once admitted that ALL YOU CARE ABOUT is how to easiest and best become the exclusive and sole owners of 1/3 of Cyprus, in the name and glory of the Turkish nation, and in the name of Turkey’s geo- strategic interests. This is the one and only single thing you care about and aim at, be it through an agreed solution or through a manipulated partition! All the rest is bullshits! We appear to have a number of angry GCs on the forum today, Kifeas I have never hidden I am a partionist at that means wanting a part of this island for TCs, how much clearer can I be? The reason why I think this is our only option is because GCs like prove me right time and time again, we cannot and do not want to live share or run a country with people with your mentality because sooner or later you will stab us in the back, why don't you try and be honest for a change all you are really interested in a getting land back and more wealth, your greed exceeds your desire to see people living peacefully without fear and hindrance. Actually Paliometoxo, in 18 per cent, given the actual population of TCs without settlers, they will be less crowded than the rest of us in the south. They will also have a disproportionate amount of coastline, the best beaches on the island and more marine resources than the RoC.

The strategic minus, and one the major powers will not accept is the joining of the TC future state waters with those of Turkey and thus making that part of the Med a closed sea. Americans and Russians do not like closed seas.

Lara bay and Cavo Greco were recently voted by an international body (sorry I’ve lost the link) as the best beaches in Cyprus and I agree with them, especially the latter.
