President Mehmet Ali Talat has said that the Cyprus report which was approved by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe was imbalanced and therefore would not be effective.

Speaking to journalists after attending this morning’s session of the Parliamentary Assembly, the President said the 541 and 550 Security Council resolutions, which had been recommended for removal by the previous secretary general and had not been used since then, have now been included in the report due to the Greek Cypriot side’s constant efforts for its inclusion.

‘This report wont be effective because it is not balanced’ stressed the President and added that he would be sending a written document which will include his criticism about the Cyprus report to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

You cheeky bastards, not only did we do you honour and allow you to speak, albeit in a foriegn language, you even have the cheek to be complaining as well.

God, there is no pleasing some people. Basically this has backfired on you guys. You thought you would hit us with your pathetic attampts to play the blame game on the podium, but it has turned around and bitten you on the arse and now you are squeeling like little girls.

Bloody turks, always want your own way, pft!

Your leader spoke in Greek, so what....you rejected the Annan Plan, so we also have the right to reject whatever we feel is not suitable for TCs as we represent 50% of the say in any new agreement.

Idiot, greek is an official EU language, and I know you cannot stomach that

Hypocrite, you slate us for rejecting the Ankara Plan (as it didn't suit us) and now you want to reject what doesn't suit you either.

50% my backside, we shall see how much 50% you represent in time.

The EU has started calling for your departure, bye bye.

Do you think it is in the interests of your future to reject any plan? Think about very carefully VP. Your community is lacking behin and another 34 years will set it right back. Don't get too confident, our honorable president invided yur muppet to speak at a high level conference, nothing to be sneared at and nothing not to be thank ful for the opportunity. One call from president Christofias and Talat ain't talkin any where.

And yes you are more than equal partners in this and you can choose your vote any way how.
