Talat to address European parliamentarians

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby humanist » Tue Sep 30, 2008 10:45 pm

This action shows the man that Christofias is and the leader that all Cypriots need. Talat may have to choose between being a Cypriot or supporting Turkey, because it is possible for him to be Cypriot now and represent his people independent of Turkey. He may get assassinated by the Turkish generals in Cyprus but hey at least he will be known as the man who set his people free form the Turkish prison.

You are being very naive, Talat is our leader and not Christofiyas (for all his stalling) we will not accept just any old solution, we need safeguards against GC domination and thats what Talat is fighting for, we have our concerns and if they are not addressed we will not be forced into any agreements that leave us at the mercy of GCs, we to have the right to say no just like you, 50% of the say is in our hands.

Oracle has spelled it out correctly VP.

on the other hannd if I do not accept the Turk leader as my leader and you do not accept Christofias as your president then you are a hypocrite if you are supporting Talat in attempts for unification.

Whos to say which one is really for a solution, your leader appears to be playing for time, into 2009 in order to strengthen his hand against Turkey, who then do you think is being sincere?

well if that is what Christofias I aplaud him, he is fighting for his country and his people those who wish to follow him against as nation that invaded his lcountry and is occupying its territory still after numerous UN resolutions. He has on the other hand empowered teh TC's thriugh his negotitations and recognition of Talat as a leader to negotiate with. The respect he has shown the TC's in Cyprus is in my view highly honourous. And he is proudly saying to Turkey, bugger you because if the TC's want to be parnters with us Greeek Cypriots we can stick ya.
